How do I earn points from EmailCash Online Shopping?
A few important things to remember:
- Enable cookies in your web browser
Cookies are an integral part of the EmailCash rewards system. If you do not have cookies enabled in your web browser, you may not be eligible to earn reward points. For information on how to enable cookies, consult your web browser's help.
- Click on Start Shopping
You must visit EmailCash and use the Start Shopping/Take Offer button each and every time you intend making a purchase. If you don't, you will not be eligible for reward points.
It is
very important that you use the Start Shopping/Take Offer button immediately before you make your purchase from the online shopping reward partner. You must click the button then make the purchase within one browsing session.
If you do
any of the following between clicking the EmailCash Start Shopping button and making your purchase,
you may not be eligible for points:
- Click through to the same online shop from a different shopping directory or shopping comparison website;
- Click on a banner advertising the same online shop;
- Close your web browser window;
- Turn off your computer;
- Wait too long (for example, more than an hour between when you click the button and when you complete your purchase);
- Record your order number
As you make your purchase online, you should keep a record of your receipt, invoice or order confirmation number. This number will be needed when you are claiming for your rewards.
- Claim for your rewards
Once you have made a purchase through an EmailCash Reward Partner, you need to claim your rewards.
I have only received some of the points from a reward partner that was running a bonus points promotion. When will I receive my bonus points?
Online shopping reward partners sometimes offer bonus points promotions. For example a reward partner may normally offer 2 points for every dollar spent, but
for a
limited time they will offer 4 points for every dollar.
When you claim for points from a partner offering bonus points,
only the normal points will be awarded when your claim is approved.
Bonus points for the promotion will be credited to your account within 7 days
after the last day of the promotion, unless otherwise specified.
What should I do if the Start Shopping button does not work?
When you click on a Start Shopping or Take Offer button, the EmailCash web site uses JavaScript to open the Reward Partner's web site.
If you have JavaScript disabled in your browser, or if you have any kind of program running that prevents pop-up windows,
the web page will not open. You should check that JavaScript is enabled and set your pop-up blocker to allow pop-ups from EmailCash.
If you have javascript enabled and no pop-up blockers running, but the Start Shopping button still does not work, there may be a temporary
problem with the Reward Partner's web site. Wait an hour or two and try again. If after 24 hours the link to the Reward Partner's site is still
not working, please
report the problem to EmailCash.
Remember, you will not be eligible to earn points if you purchase directly from the Reward Partner's web site without first clicking on the Start
Shopping or Take Offer button on EmailCash. If the button is not working and you want to earn points for a purchase, you must wait until the button
is working again.
Can I shop at EmailCash Online Shopping partners using my reward points?
No, you cannot use EmailCash reward points to shop at EmailCash Online Shopping partners. You can only use real currency.
Can I shop at EmailCash Online Shopping Partners if I don't have a credit card?
Yes, there are a number of EmailCash partners that accept methods of payment other than credit cards. These methods include cheque, money order, BPay, and direct deposit.

How do I add a reward partner to My Favourite Reward Partners?
This option is available on each individual reward partner's page. Look below the Payment Methods section on the left hand side. This option is also available in search listings; just click on "Add to favourites".
You can remove items from your favourites list using the grey "Remove" link next to each item.
Why is a particular reward partner no longer on your site?
Sometimes reward partners are removed from our site. This can happen because their contract with us has expired, or because they stopped paying out reward points to members that earned them.
Can I still earn points from a particular reward partner if it is no longer on your site?
- If you place an order with a reward partner while that partner is still showing on the EmailCash site, and the partner is removed from the site before you have received your points, EmailCash will endeavour to ensure you receive the reward points you deserve.
- If you place an order directly with an online shop (i.e. you didn't click on the Start Shopping button on the EmailCash site) and that online shop is no longer on our website, you cannot earn reward points for that purchase.
Will a reward partner that has been removed in the past be re-instated?
Sometimes reward partners are removed from our site temporarily, and sometimes permanently. You should contact the reward partner directly, via their website/email address, to enquire about whether they will be returning as an EmailCash reward partner.
How do I give feedback on a Reward Partner?
- Ensure you are signed in, then go to Online Shopping;
- Find the Reward Partner you wish to give feedback on, and click on the Reward Partner's name to go to their offer page. Then, scroll down to the 'Member Reviews' section;
- Click the Send in your feedback link, on the right hand side;
- Complete the feedback form by rating your overall experience with the Reward Partner, and entering a comment in the Comments box;
- Click Submit Feedback
You can only submit feedback if you have made a purchase, then successfully claimed points from a reward partner. Furthermore, you can only submit feedback once per successful claim, and it must be within 60 days of the successful claim.
How do I post a follow up comment to a Reward Partner's reply to my feedback?
- Ensure you are signed in, then go to Online Shopping;
- Find the Reward Partner you wish to give feedback on, and click on the Reward Partner's name to go to their offer page. Then, scroll down to the 'Member Reviews' section;
- Find the Reward Partner's reply to your feedback, then click on the Post follow up comment link underneath it;
- Enter your comment, then click Post Follow Up Comment
What do the ratings mean?
The Feedback Rating is an easy way for members to evaluate a Reward Partner's reputation. As a general rule, the higher the feedback rating, the more reputable the Reward Partner.
The Feedback Rating is determined in the following way:
- Positive feedback increases the Feedback Rating by one point
- Neutral feedback leaves the Feedback Rating the same
- Negative feedback decreases the Feedback Rating by one point
The Positive Feedback percentage is calculated in the following way:
(Total amount of positive feedback received ÷ Total amount of all feedback received) x 100
