- Make the necessary changes, and press Save Changes.
How can I change my name?
You can only change your registered name if you have recently married or divorced, or if
you have changed your name by law. You will need to provide a recent document to support this change.

How do I submit proof of identification documents?
As part of EmailCash's stringent security policy, you may be asked to submit proof of identification documents. You may be asked to submit documentation at any time, including, but not limited to:
- When you request to change your name;
- When you win an auction item, request a cheque or purchase a catalogue item;
- When the EmailCash fraud detection system flags your account for suspicious fraudulent activity;
- As part of a random check of all members that may be conducted from time to time.
Please be assured that this precaution is absolutely essential. The copy of the document received is handled with the strictest confidence. For more information see the EmailCash

You may also obliterate or exclude parts of the documentation that are not relevant - we only need to see a photocopy of an official document showing your name
and current address.
The document must be less than a year old. Examples of valid identification documents include:
- bank statement;
- utility bill;
- driver's licence.
If you are changing your name by marriage, then a marriage certificate will suffice.

First Contact EmailCash and state that you would like to submit identification documentation by email. You will be given an email address to which you can email a scanned copy of the document as an attachment.
Please be sure to include your
Username. This can be found in the
Account page after you sign in.
Can I change my username?
No, your username cannot be changed.
How do I change my password?
- Sign in, and visit the Account page;
- Click on Settings;
- Click on Change Password under Sign In Details;
- Enter your old password for security;
- Enter your new password, and enter it a second time to verify;
- Click on Save Changes.
Why does it say that my email address isn't working? It is correct.
This is because we have experienced difficulty sending you email on 5 different occasions.
To rectify this, try the following procedure:
- Sign in, and visit the Account page;
- Click on Settings;
- Leave the email address displayed as is, if you believe it is correct;
- Click on Save Changes (effectively you are updating your email address without making any actual change);
- If you receive an email asking you to verify your new address, click on the link to verify.
If you do not receive such an email, or if you try this procedure and get the same message again, it means that we simply cannot send any email to the email address provided. You will need to use a different email address for your EmailCash account.
I can only have mail delivered to a PO Box. What can I do?
We require your residential address for demographics purposes. Please enter your full residential street address under
Street Address, then enter your PO Box address in the
Postal Address field lower down on the page.
Why should I verify my account?
Safety and security is an important part of EmailCash. One way you can help with security is to verify your account. Verifying your account will allow for the
faster processing of cheques, catalogue orders and auction items, which means you'll be able to receive your rewards sooner. As an added bonus, you'll
receive 10 Exp when you fully verify your account the first time.
How do I verify my mobile phone number?
- Ensure you are signed in, then click on Account in the main navigation bar;
- Click on Verification;
- To the right of the Mobile Phone No. area, click on Send me a verification code by SMS;
- After you have received the text message, return to the Verification page;
- Enter the 6 digit numerical code included in the text message and click Submit.
How do I verify my mobile phone number if I don't own a mobile phone?
If you don't own a mobile phone, please
contact EmailCash.
What should I do if I don't receive the mobile verification SMS?
If you don't receive the mobile verification SMS within 24 hours of requesting it, please
contact EmailCash with details of the mobile network you are subscribed to.
Why can't I change my mobile phone number?
You may not be allowed to make changes to your mobile phone number for one of the following reasons:
- You have successfully updated and verified your mobile phone number within the last 2 months;
- Or you have requested more than 2 verification text messages. If this is the case, please contact EmailCash.
How do I verify my postal address?
- Ensure you are signed in, then click on Account in the main navigation bar;
- Click on Verification;
- To the right of the Postal Address area, click on Send me a verification code in the mail;
- Please allow up to 6 weeks for your verification letter to arrive;
- After you have received the verification letter, return to the Verification page;
- Enter the 6 digit numerical code included in the letter and click Submit.
You can update your address as often as required. However, your address can only be verified once every 2 months.
If you do not receive a verification letter after 6 weeks, you may request a new one. However, there is a maximum of two verification letter requests per address.
Why can't I change my postal address?
Changes to your postal address will not be possible for 7 days once your verification status changes from 'pending' to 'sent'.
How do I cancel my membership?
If you want to unsubscribe from receiving Reward Mail and newsletters but still want to
keep your membership and rewards, this can be done on the
Settings page.
However, if you are sure you want to completely cancel your membership, this can be done as follows:
- Sign in to the EmailCash Web site;
- From the Account page, click on Settings;
- Click on to Cancel this account;
- Click the checkbox to indicate you would like to cancel your account;
- Provide a reason for cancelling;
- Enter your password, and click Cancel.
How do I change my email subscriptions settings?
- Sign in to the EmailCash Web site;
- Navigate to the Settings page in the Account menu;
- On the right hand side of the Settings page, you will see the Email Subscriptions section.

- Click the Unsubscribe link next to the type of email you wish to unsubscribe from;
- Click the Confirm button to complete the unsubscribe process.
What is the alternate email address used for?
Occasionally an email address can just stop working - any emails sent to it are "bounced back", kind of like when a letter is returned to sender with the message "not at this address". It can happen to any email address and for any number of reasons. For example, if you go away on holiday and stop checking your emails for a while, your email account will start filling up with emails and may eventually become full. Once your email account is full, your email provider will no longer accept any email to your email address - the email will be returned to the sender with the message "over quota".
If EmailCash sends you an email but it is sent back because your email address is undeliverable, we need an alternate method to contact you and notify you of the problem. If you don't fix the problem, you can miss out on lots of reward points, including surveys and reward mail. By providing an alternate email address, EmailCash can send an email to your alternate address to notify you if your main email address isn't working.
Your alternate email address will only be used to notify you of a problem with your primary email address. It will never be used to send actual reward mail or surveys, nor will it ever be shared with any other person or company.
Providing an alternate email address is optional, but highly recommended.
