What are EmailCash Classifieds?
EmailCash Classifieds are just like other online classifieds. People pay to advertise things that they want to sell.
But EmailCash Classifieds have a few advantages over other services:
If you're a seller,
- You pay for your classified ad with reward points rather than forking out your own hard-earned money.
- A basic classified ad costs just 100 points, and that small fee gives you huge exposure on a popular Australian community Web site.
- You are virtually guaranteed that people will see your ad because EmailCash points are awarded at random to members who browse the classifieds.
If you're a buyer,
- You have the chance of winning points just by browsing the classifieds.
- You can contact the seller direct by email if they have provided for it, simply by filling in the form.
How do I earn points for browsing the EmailCash Classifieds?
Just make sure you're signed in as you look around the classifieds. Points will be awarded at random, in amounts ranging from 2 points up to 50 points.
Why haven't I received my points?
If you win points whilst browsing the Classifieds, a message will pop up telling you that you have won. The message that pops up is created with Javascript. This code is stored on your computer, and sometimes if you refresh that page or go back to it by using the Back button, then the message will pop up again, giving you the false impression that you have won even more points.
This means that you may believe that you have won points twice in a row, when in fact you have only won points once.
How do I place an ad?
You must have at least 30
Exp to be able to post an ad in the Classifieds.
- Make sure you are signed in;
- Visit the EmailCash Classifieds;
- Click on the Post Classified Ad button on the right;
- Choose one category to display your ad in;
- Enter a headline, and the ad text in the Description box. You cannot edit an ad after it is placed, so take your time and check everything. Your ad text can be no longer than 500 characters;
- Choose which contact details you would like to appear with your ad;
- Enter a price. If the price is negotiable, mention this in the ad text;
- If you have an image for your classified ad already posted on the Web somewhere, enter the URL. The image should be no wider than 315 pixels, and no taller than 500 pixels. Images larger than this may be removed at the discretion of EmailCash;
- Click on the Post Classified Ad button.
Your ad will be valid for 2 weeks.
Your classified ad will be automatically removed without notice (no refunds will be given) if your ad:
- promotes a business opportunity, "get rich quick" scheme, multi-level marketing scheme, money-making opportunity, money-making educational product (book, seminar, or website), or referral/recruiting scheme;
- promotes any gambling activities, including a lottery syndicate or gambling website;
- promotes a company or service in competition with or otherwise similar to EmailCash, including a paid-to-read-email service or paid-to-do-surveys service;
- contains any illegal material or promotes the sale of illegal material;
- contains any indecent, vulgar or pornographic material or promotes the sale of pornography;
- solicits donations for anything other than a registered charity.
EmailCash reserves the right to remove any ad without reason. If your ad is removed, no refund will be given.
How do I edit my ad?
- Sign in to EmailCash;
- Go to Classifieds. Then, under the "My Classified Ads" heading, find the ad you wish to edit;
- Click on the "Edit" link beside the ad. You will be taken to the "Edit Classified Ad" form where you can edit your ad;
- When you have finished editing your ad, click "Submit Edit" at the end of the form.
How do I cancel my ad once the item has sold?
You may wish to cancel your ad if, for example, you have sold the item or if the event has passed.
- Sign in to EmailCash;
- Go to Classifieds. Then, under the "My Classified Ads" heading, find the ad you wish to cancel;
- Click on the "Cancel" link beside the ad. The "Confirm Ad Cancellation" form will appear above the "My Classified Ads" table;
- If you are sure you wish to cancel your ad, then click "Yes".
If I cancel my ad, do I get a refund?
Unfortunately you will not receive a refund if you cancel your ad early. You should take your time when submitting your ad to ensure there are no errors or omissions. And be sure to press the "Post Classified Ad" button only once to avoid duplicate entries.
